Terms of service
Last updated 2 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and SKALE ("we") about using skale.media. By making an account or using the site, you accept them. Creators and businesses who work with us also sign a written agreement, which wins where the two differ.
01Your account
- You must be at least 18 to make an account, and allowed to receive payments where you live.
- Give us true details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if someone else gets into your account. One account per person.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
02Clipping for brands
- Each brand's program sets its own campaigns, rules, rates and budget. Read them before you post: a clip that breaks a campaign's rules does not earn.
- You may submit clips only from accounts you own and have added to SKALE, and you must follow the rules of the platform you post on.
- Views count for the period a campaign states. A campaign stops paying when its budget is spent or it ends.
- We may review any clip and refuse, hold or reverse its earnings if its views look fake or bought, it breaks a rule, or it is taken down.
03Earnings and payouts
- What you earn adds up in your wallet. You can withdraw from $20 in USDC.
- We check every withdrawal before we send it, and may ask for proof that the views are real.
- Fees charged by the payment provider are yours. So are any taxes on what you earn.
- If we paid you by mistake, or for views that turn out to be fake, we may take it back from your wallet.
04Content
- You keep the rights to what you make. You give us and the brand whose campaign you clipped for the right to show your clips and their results in connection with that campaign.
- A brand's footage may be used only for its campaigns, and only as long as they run.
- Do not post anything illegal, hateful or sexual, anything you have no right to use, or anything that pretends to be someone else.
05What is not allowed
- Fake views, likes or comments, or buying or trading them.
- Using automated tools, scripts or scraping on SKALE, or trying to get into accounts or data that are not yours.
- Getting around a ban or a limit, or helping someone else to.
06Ending your account
You can stop using SKALE at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; earnings from clips that broke them are not paid. Earnings you made fairly are paid out when an account closes, once checked.
07Our responsibility
We work to keep SKALE running and correct, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what we paid you or you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights the law does not let us limit.
08Changes and contact
When these terms change, the date at the top changes too, and we tell you before a change that matters applies. Questions: privacy@skale.media.
